Abstract: There has been hero spirits since the ancient China, of which the independent personality and demeanor of shouldering the responsibility are always praised. In the middle period of the Ming Dynasty, because of the domestic trouble and foreign invasion, people’s hero obsession were aroused again. As a person with lofty ideals, Wang Mingyang proposed his independent ideas and suggestions and appealed heroes to undertake the social responsibilities. However, he failed in achieving his final ideals.
