Abstract: The national minorities non-material cultural heritage resources are rich, many minority dances are essence. The traditional picture and the video recording cannot preserve the dance art completely and accurately, which is manifested by the human body movement. Using computer motion capture technology can realize omni-directional 3D digitized protection for dancer’s posture of national minorities and establishing dance database can really and completely preserve the artistic essence for each dance, therefore providing the precisely digital platform for protecting research, choreographing dance and making dance return to original state of national minorities dance in the near future.
