Abstract:
68 college students were selected to explore the relationship between explicit self-esteem, implicit self-esteem and coping styles of college students. The results show: (1) There was a significant effect of implicit self-esteem in college students; (2) There was a low correlation between explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem, it supports the hypothesis that explicit self-esteem is an independent structure from implicit self-esteem; (3) There was a significant correlation between explicit self-esteem and the negative factor of coping styles; (4) No correlation was significant between the implicit self-esteem and coping styles. The results support the hypothesis that implicit self-esteem is an independent structure from explicit self-esteem.
