Abstract: The network ideology refers to a system of values that reflects the interests of certain classes, groups, and individuals in cyberspace. Different interest appeals, theoretical systems, practical subjects, and cyber discourse are the distinctive features of the cyber ideology. The function of the network ideology is the manifestation of the essential characteristics of the network ideology. Therefore, the criticism and integration of interest demands, the deconstruction and self-construction of theoretical system, the alienation and shaping of the subject of practice, and the weakening and dominance of network discourse form the main contents of network ideology function.
