Efficiency Evaluation and Influencing Factors of Regional Logistics Industry Based on Super-SBM-DEA Model

    目的/意义长江三角洲经济增长的区域性特征逐渐凸显,对区域经济发展与物流效率的相关性进行分析,促进二者良性循环发展,为长江三角洲区域经济发展提供理论参考和实践指引。
    设计/方法选取2011~2021年长江三角洲区域41个城市的相关数据,运用Super-SBM-DEA模型、Malmquist指数从静态和动态方面对长江三角洲区域41个城市物流效率进行研究,借助 Tobit 模型分析城市物流效率影响因素。
    结论/发现2011~2021年长江三角洲区域41个城市整体物流效率较高,效率平均值在1左右徘徊;该区域全要素生产率增长的主要贡献来源于规模效率,其次是纯技术效率,技术进步未能成为长江三角洲区域全要素生产率发展的核心竞争力;物流产业集聚、物流资源利用、物流信息化水平对物流效率具有显著的正向作用,产业结构对物流效率的正向作用还未显现出来,能源消耗未通过显著性检验。

     

    Abstract: Purpose/Significance The regional characteristics of the economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta region are gradually highlighted. The correlation between regional economic development and logistics efficiency is analyzed to promote the benign development of the two and provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the regional economic development in the Yangtze River Delta region. Design/Methodology Selecting the relevant data of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2011 to 2021, this paper uses the Super-SBM-DEA model and Malmquist index to study the logistics efficiency of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from the static and dynamic aspects. The influencing factors of urban logistics efficiency are analyzed by Tobit model. Conclusions/Findings From 2011 to 2021, the overall logistics efficiency of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region was relatively high, with the average efficiency hovering around 1. The main contribution of total factor productivity growth in this region comes from scale efficiency, followed by pure technical efficiency. Technological change has not become the core competitiveness of total factor productivity development in the Yangtze River Delta region. The agglomeration of logistics industry, the utilization of logistics resources and the level of logistics informatization have a significant positive effect on the logistics efficiency. The positive effect of industrial structure on the logistics efficiency has not yet emerged, and the energy consumption has not passed the significance test.
