Abstract:
Lipman’s “Philosophy for Children (P4C)” is not a branch of philosophy, but a philosophical application that provides a unique perspective for studying human thinking and the development of human intelligence. Logic is the link to children’s philosophy, which is the foundation of Lipman’s thought and a common basis for many studies on children’s philosophy. In the era of artificial intelligence, tracing the establishment, research, and practice of Lipman’s P4C can find the process from “logic and philosophy” to “logic and P4C”, and discover that his P4C can concretize the study of thinking, thus possessing the potential to promote the popularization of logic and bridge the gap between the “important” and “difficult to understand” aspects of logic
