Abstract: Although artificial intelligence (AI) originated within industrial civilization, it has transformed human cognition and practice, modes of social production, and social consciousness,leading to cumulative changes in the components of human civilization and paving the way for the emergence of intelligent civilization.First, intelligent civilization is characterized by the civilizational development of intelligent technological systems, the intelligent transformation of civil society, and the pursuit of free and all-round human development.Second, different social formations reflect distinct manifestations of intelligent civilization. Given the divergence between China and the West under technological paradigms and differing developmental logics, capitalist intelligent civilization currently holds a first-mover advantage. However, the socialist system can open up broader space for the development of intelligent civilization, guiding humanity toward a new form of intelligent civilization.Finally, the "newness" of this emerging form lies in addressing key challenges:the technological catch-up of late-developing countries, the societal transformation during the pri-mary stage of socialism in the intelligent era, and the creative transformation of historical and cult-ural traditions. This new form of human intelligent civilization will offer pathways for countries to develop AI in ways compatible with their social systems, illuminating the historical trajectory of human intelligent civilization with Chinese wisdom.
