Abstract:
This paper uses entropy weighting method, vector autoregressive model, β convergence model and coupling coordination model to measure and evaluate the development level of digital construction and cultural industry in 31 provinces in China from 2014 to 2021, and tests the driving coupling effect of digital construction on cultural industry. It is found that the overall development level of digital construction and cultural industry in China is low, but it is generally on the rise, and the development level of digital construction and cultural industry in the eastern region is obviously higher than that in the central and western regions; Digital construction can effectively drive the development of cultural industry and accelerate the convergence of the development gap between provinces, but the regional differences are obvious. Digital construction has a stronger promotion effect on the development level of cultural industry in the eastern region, but it has a better promotion effect on the convergence speed of the development gap of cultural industry in the central and western regions; The coupling coordination degree between digital construction and cultural industry in China is on the verge of imbalance, but it shows a steady upward trend, and the coupling coordination degree in the eastern region is higher than that in the central and western regions. Accordingly, this paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of deepening digital construction, accelerating the development of cultural industry and strengthening the level of coordinated development between the two.
