Abstract: As one way of human being’s spiritual life, belief has provided human being with impetus and target to pursue values. Historically, the relationship between belief and rationality evolves from “opposition” to “unity” to “separation”. Until the modern society, since the rationality is excessively emphasized, the belief is neglected, which leads to a belief lost. How to rebuild belief is a difficult problem for us. Marxism takes the realization of mankind’s liberation and human’s freedom and comprehensive development as the fundamental values and the highest values and ideals, which find a new spiritual habitat for human being.
