Abstract: Zheng Gu’s quatrains。such够“To See My Friend off in Huai”，have always been highly admired．The fact that the poet perfecting the quatrains sedulously could be traced to mainly being affected by the folk songs．The lan· guage was enhanced to be sung．The consciously implicit awareness pursuing，the affections refining and deepening and scenes expanding the feeling functions are the reasons why his quatrains aIe 80 outstanding．And it is also why quatrains got high achievements after Xiantong periods of Late Tang Dynasty．
