Abstract:
Japan has been the main market of Chinese livestock products. In Japanese market, USA and Australia are the main competitors of China. This paper uses the relevant data of UNCOMTRADE and the “Possession Ratio of Market (PRM)”, “Export Similarity Index (ESI)”, and “Revealed Comparative Advantages Index (RCA)” to make the contrast analysis on the advantage and disadvantage of livestock products of China, USA and Australia. This study will provide decision reference and support for consolidation and increase of market share of Chinese livestock products in Japan
