Abstract: The basic endowment pension is the main income for retired people, which is important for their living standard and social harmony. This paper samples the standard of basic endowment pension in Jiangsu Province as research objectives and compares social indexes of the GDP per capital, salary standard of employment, average expenditure of urban residents, etc, finding that the standard of endowment pension in Jiangsu Province is lower that the economic development. By selecting some data of Jiangsu Province in 2010 as explanatory variables and basic endowment pension per capital as the explained variable, an optimization model is constructed, which shows the big difference between different regions. Finally, some suggestions are proposed according to some practical situations
