Abstract: Since the Chinese economic reform, our country’s political task and social practice environment have big differences with the past. In this situation, we must implement the modernization transition of the meaning and practice method of the spirit of Lei Feng, to advance and promote the civism, the innovation spirit, the independence spirit, and the team spirit, which are contained in the spirit of Lei Feng. Besides, the randomized temporary assistance should be converted to the formal social relief, and the personal behaviors should be changed into organized group behaviors. A variety of volunteer activities should be accumulated to rescue the huge weak community, so as to face the big challenge of the aging society
