Abstract: To improve pertinence and actual effect of ideological and political education in the network, it is necessary to fully understand the education object to accurately grasp the network ideological and political education of college students. We must understand the community in thought and behavior characteristics in a network environment, research in-depth and analyze the concept and characteristics of the netizen group of college student. Internet population is a group of college students who have the same interests, hobbies, emotional or any other specific objectives and share knowledge, information and value trough participating, communicating, and exchanging on Internet. The netizen group of college students not only has characteristics of the general Internet population, but also has the unique characteristics, such as eager for self-realization, hungry for digitalization, and leading the network fashion.
