  • Ontology is a formal and explicit specification of a shared conceptualization. The domain ontology modeling removes the barrier for system integration and cooperation, and clears the ways for knowledge being shared and reused. This paper presents the basic knowledge of ontology, provides method of emergency domain ontology modeling, analyzes the ontology of emergency domain based on the above methods, and constructs the ontology of emergency domain by employing Protégé.
