Abstract
The priority of China's institutional translation is to assist the “Going-Out of Chinese Culture”, however, the effect of intercultural communication leaves much to be desired. Bakhtin's Dialogue theory sheds new light on this very issue: “Self-Self” monologue mode is the crux while “Self-Other” dialogue mode is the solution. “Self-Other” dialogue mode includes three suggestions: 1.When selecting the works to be translated, China's institution should have dialogue with relevant foreign personnel and individual translators; 2.Target readers should be clearly identified and the core value should be highlighted to encourage them to have dialogue with translated works; 3. The strategy of domestication facilitates the dialogue between the translated works and their readers.
