Research on Higher Education Curriculum: Concept, Problem, and Prospect

  • The main areas of higher education curriculum in China include curriculum's interdisciplinary fusion, the multiply value standard, the practical of research method, and the goal of curriculum's design, which contribute to higher education curriculum's significant achievements in basic research and applied research field. Meanwhile, we should also correctly understand that in the research process in higher education course, the connotation's reference and criticism, value orientation's unification and diversification, methodology's dispersion and focusing, and the care of theoretical and practical problems all exist. In order to promote the study of higher education in China, the future research should highlight the characteristic of higher education curriculum system, focus on the multiple way of research, and realize the dialogue between theory and practice, thus keeping pace with the development of the higher education in the world.
