Evaluation of Storage Emergency Management Capability in E-commerce Environment

With the fast development of electronic commerce, e-commerce holiday promotions are more frequent. The sudden surge of package presents a serious challenge to the enterprise warehouse management capability. Therefore, it’s important to improve emergency management capability for warehouse management system construction. This article constructs an evaluation index system for storage emergency management capability from the perspective of the whole emergency management process, which consists of emergency capability for basis recognition, prevention & preparation, response & disposal, recovery & optimization. And then, this article adopts the AHP method to determine the weight of each index, and applies fuzzy-TOPSIS method to evaluate the storage emergency management capability. Four warehouses of Jing Dong (JD) logistics in Southern China are taken as case research objects for comparing the importance and levels of different indicators, and capability differences between them. The result shows that the evaluation index system and evaluation method are both rational.
