Abstract
Construction industry has been one of high-risk industries, and the life cost hidden behind construction output in eastern, middle and western regions which are divided by economic levels needs social concern urgently. The Lorenz curve drawn by accidents, the death toll in building projects, and construction output in the three regions in 2010 to 2015 indicates that the imbalance degree in eastern region is higher than those the middle region and western regions. Life cost per hundred billion construction output indicates that the indicator in the western region is the highest, which is 2.25 times of that in the lowest eastern region. The reasons and suggestion of life cost inequality are proposed.
