Review and Prospect of New Generation of Information Technology Industry Alliance Portfolio

Based on the literature review of alliance portfolio, this paper summarizes the research achievements in aspects of connotation, appearance, allocation and management of alliance portfolio through combining the new generation of information technology. In the development of the new generation of information technology industry, which is featured with industrial characteristics of a high degree of uncertainty, short technical life cycle, creative destruction, and a high degree of resource dependence, the alliance portfolio is an important organizational model for enterprises to acquire complementary resources, cultivate and enhance innovation ability to cope with the above-mentioned industrial characteristics. Based on the summary of the existing research, this paper points out that the future research needs to explore the internal relations and mechanisms of the alliance combination and innovation ability based on the industry characteristics.
