A Comparative Analysis of Agricultural Information Selection Between Major and Ordinary Farmers: Taking Zhangye City of Gansu Province as an Example

  • Based on the survey data of large and ordinary farmers in the area of planting, this paper uses the "R-Q factor analysis" model to compare the differences of the agricultural information acquisition channels and the content selection behaviors between the local professional producers and the ordinary farmers on the basis of analyzing the agricultural information selection behavior of the sample farmers. The results show that the selection of agricultural information is relatively regular and diversified. There are significant differences in the "preferred channels" of agricultural information and large agricultural enterprises. The importance of the traditional information media in the collection of large professional information declines relatively. The "policy information" of the speciality of planting industry has special preference. Finally, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the research results.
