Creation and Maintenance of the Cooperation Mechanism Between Court and Community

Community are main entrances for courts to get involved in social management and important object of courts’ judicial coordination. On the basis of deeply exploring community organizations’ governance capacity, this paper intends to mollify present conflict that " there are many cases but fewer people” in China, and promptly accommodate people’s diverse needs for resolving disputes and conflicts in more cost-effective ways that are more acceptable by the masses, in order to make some contributions to promote modernization of national governance systems and capacity. Meanwhile, it is proposed that the initial creation of cooperation court and community mechanisms shall be based on short-term objectives with higher concerns and give priority to introduction of community resources. To maintain the cooperation mechanisms, it is necessary to ensure continuous investments of funds. To keep the cooperation mechanisms vital, scientific evaluation standards shall be explored, so as to acquire basic information necessary for optimizing cooperation organizations, structures, and modes of operation.
