Study on Mechanisms and the Network Mode of Holistic Collaboration Governance in Metropolitan Area

With the development of urbanization and regional integration, the governance issues of metropolitan area are increasingly given attention. This article analyzes the mechanisms of holistic collaboration governance among local governments in metropolitan area, such as trust and communication, interest distribution and compensation, and supervision and evaluation. Based on these mechanisms, this article will study the network mode of holistic collaboration governance that consists of different levels of government, NGOs and private sectors for providing an effective approach to attain long-term and stable cooperation among local governments in metropolitan area.
