On Five Constant Virtues of Confucianism and Cultivation of Socialist Core Value on Undergraduates

Kindness, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness are the mainstream cultures and core values in ancient Chinese society. These five confucianism virtues play an important role in cultivating the core values of socialism. Five Constant virtues can be sources of inspiration of the socialist core culture, and the socialist core culture can promote the modern transformation of five virtues. In the process of cultivating the university students' socialist core value, the five virtues can be used to enrich the content of socialist core value, furthermore, through the versatile measures and diversified mode of transmissions, the socialist core value based on the traditional culture can be spread, thus promoting the approval of undergraduates towards the socialist core value.
