Prevention and Control of Internet Financial Crimes: with the Active Role of the Chinese Criminal Law

  • Internet finance has greatly changed the existence and development of traditional finance. On one hand, it facilitates financial innovation, on the other hand, it also brings in a number of crimes, such as money laundering and illegal fund-raising. At present, the Chinese criminal law is becoming more and more active. Control of Internet Financial crimes helps to seek public security and social stability. However, the current criminal law should still protect the development of financial innovation, work with the other laws, and maintain the clear boundary of criminal and civil cases.
