Abstract
With the development of e-commerce and the change of traditional consumption mode, the network group-purchasing got the favor of numerous consumers by providing services of same or higher quality to consumers with competitively price. Due to its short development time, complex legal relationship, and lacking practice experience, infringement of consumer rights and interests is becoming frequent in network group-purchasing in recent years, such as fraud, false advertising, recessive consumption, difficulties about consumer rights protection. It also obstructs the sound development of network industry. Chinese current laws are too abstract, undefined, difficult to prove, insufficient punishment and overlap or lack of departments’ supervision. The network group-purchasing consumers are both e-commerce consumers and consumers in reality. Therefore, on the basis of the principle of fairness and good faith, a serious of measures should be taken, such as improving the system of market access, strengthening legal supervision about information disclosure and standard terms, perfecting the dispute settlement mechanism, strengthening the supervision of operators’ illegal responsibility, and improving the system of " cooling-off period” in order to perfect the protection of consumers’ rights and interests in network group-purchasing.
