Study on the Evolution Mechanism of Land Resources Carrying Capacity in the Mountainous Region of Catastrophic Earthquake

  • The ecological environment of Wenchuan Sichuan County, Beichuan County, Mianzhu city and other places was seriously damaged by " 5.12” earthquake. At the same time, due to the impact of " post-earthquake effect”, after the earthquake, the social-economic and people’s life and production of the disaster area have greatly been affected. In this paper, the land resources carrying capacity is divided into land population carrying capacity, land economic carrying capacity, and land ecological carrying capacity. Taking Qingping Town as an example, this paper analyzes the key influencing factors of the three parts, constructs the evolution model of land resources carrying capacity based on mean variance analysis, and studies the change of land resources carrying capacity from 2008 to 2013. The results can provide the basis for post-disaster planning and post-disaster reconstruction from different angles.
