Development of Environmental Law in China with 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up

With 40 years of China’s reform and opening-up, China’s environmental law has been continuously developing. This paper takes the three steps of initial development, rapid development and innovation development of China’s environmental law as traces, and from three aspects of legislation, theoretical research and discipline construction, it analyzes the tendency of China’s environmental law after reform and opening-up. It shows that the environmental legislation is mature and complete, the environmental law’s research is comprehensive and in-depth, and the environmental law develops from the edge to the core.
