Significance of the Reform, Experience, and Revitalization System of the Post-Earthquake Construction of Xiang’e Village in Dujiangyan

In the 19th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China, it was proposed to implement the rural revitalization strategy, strengthen the rural basic work, and improve the rural governance system combining rules of autonomy, law, and virtue. The year of 2018 is the 10th memorial year of the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake, which is of significance for the transformation, experience, and revitalization of the construction of Xiang’e Village in Dujiangyan City after the earthquake. The strategic chain of revitalizing Xiang’e Village is a plan and guideline for the village’s development, in which the work-building chain of party-building ideology, the chain of economic and social development, and the rules of autonomy, rule, and virtue are closely linked with each other and become the most stable triangular support structure for the revitalization of the countryside. After the 10th memorial year of the earthquake, Xiang’e Village has made historic changes in aspects of economic construction, democratic and rule-of-law construction, ideological and cultural construction, people’s livelihood, and ecological civilization construction, and a revitalization plan is designed.
