Multidimensional Poverty Study of the Desolate Area of Dabieshan in Anhui Province from the Perspective of Capability Poverty

  • Based on the perspective of capacity poverty, a multi-dimensional poverty identification index system consisting of 10 indicators of income, education, health and living conditions was constructed. The A-F was used to measure the multi-dimensional poverty in the contiguous destitute area of Dabieshan in Anhui Province. The results show that in the single-dimensional analysis, the non-income poverty is more serious than the income poverty. The education level of the head of the household and the incidence of fuel poverty are relatively high. In the multi-dimensional analysis, the multi-dimensional poverty coverage is wide, but the degree of severe multi-dimensional poverty is low; From the perspective of various indicators, the contribution rate of cooking fuel, household education level and health status is high, which is the main reason for the poverty of farmers in the district; from different regions, there are differences in multi-dimensional poverty in different regions, and the multi-dimensional poverty level in Anqing is relatively low. The multi-dimensional poverty level in the Fuyang area is relatively high.
