Research Comparison and Future Prospects of the Reforms to Delegate Power, Streamline Administration and Optimize Government Services

  • Purpose/Significance In recent years, the “reforms to delegate power, streamline administration and optimize government services” have become a hot topic in academic research, and the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the CPC has also put forward new requirements and guiding suggestions for the reforms. Therefore, the systematic analysis and comparison of the current reforms in China will play an important role in promoting the theory and practice of the reform in the future. Design/Methodology This paper selects important journals, compares and analyzes the overall research development and differences of the reforms before and after the 19th National Congress of the CPC. Findings/Conclusions The research hot topics before and after the 19th National Congress of the CPC has the characteristics of “ more differences and less commonality”, while the research team shows “more commonality and fewer differences”, and the research content shows the highly consistent characteristics of “much about the same”. From the point of view of connotation and problem optimization, there is “less commonality and fewer differences” between the former and the latter stages; while from the point of view of practice mode and effect evaluation, there is an inheritance and development relationship between the former stage and the latter stage, and research in the latter stage is the continuous and in-depth research of the former stage. Finally, this paper puts forward the future research from three aspects: strengthening the communication and cooperation between the research teams, promoting the case and empirical research in depth, and increasing the qualitative and quantitative mixed research.
