The Internal Theories, Principles and Practice of Technology-assisted Ideological and Political Education

  • Purpose/Significance With the deep development and application of modern information technology, ideological and political education is surrounded by technology. Facing huge impacts and challenges, the integration of ideological and political education and technology is imperative. Design/Methodology By exploring the theoretical basis for technology to help ideological and political education from different perspectives, we can see that technology has promoted the development, reform, and innovation of ideological and political education. Technology has a positive role in enhancing the sense and effectiveness of ideological and political education and increasing its attractiveness and appeal. Technology-assisted ideological and political education should follow the principle of people-oriented, the principle of unity of value and direction, the principle of unity of science and technology and humanity, and the principle of coordination between subjectivity and carrier. Findings/Conclusion In the practice of the integration of ideological and political education and technology, we must grasp it from the aspects of updating the educational concept, grasping the law of integration, improving the educators’ technical literacy, focusing on content construction, and strengthening the media literacy and moral construction of the education object.
