Growth Mechanism and Operation Rules of Platform Enterprises in the Sharing Economy: Review and Prospect

Purpose/Significance The new characteristics of the growth and operation of platform enterprises in the sharing economy have brought many challenges to the industy and academy. Design/Methodology The research results on the growth mechanism and operation rules of platform enterprises in the sharing economy are summarized, and the focus and direction of future research are put forward. Conclusions/Findings The network effect and synergistic effect of the sharing economy model should be given to full play, the bilateral gathering and matching mechanism in the initial stage, the bilateral trust mechanism and supervision mechanism in the growth stage, and the transaction promotion and after-sales guarantee mechanism in the mature stage should be integrated, to enrich the theory of enterprise operation and management in the sharing economy and guide the practice and innovation of the operation mode of emerging enterprises.
