Research Hotspot and Trend of Intangible Cultural Heritage DigitizationKnowledge Map Analysis Based on CNKI

  • Purpose/Significance The rapid development of digital technology has provided new opportunities and ways for the protection and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage. Clarifying the research process of intangible heritage digitization in China is helpful to objectively reflect the current situation and problems of its protection and dissemination, which are of great significance to deepen the digital research of intangible cultural heritage and enhance the guiding role of academic research on practice. Design/Methodology Quantitative and visualized analysis on 188 core periodical papers on the digitization of intangible cultural heritage included in CNKI by CiteSpace are carried out. Based on the analysis of the literature, this paper draws the trend map and cluster map of digitization of intangible cultural heritage. Conclusions/Findings The analysis found that the existing research results are relatively independent, with characteristics of policy-oriented and technology-driven, and interdisciplinary research and case study methods play an important role in this field. However, there are still problems such as research framework to be formed, technical boundary problems to be discussed, and emphasizing technical description over system construction. In the future, strengthening the construction of systematic theory, deepening interdisciplinary research, adopting a variety of research methods and paying attention to the development of cutting-edge technologies should be the focus of the intangible cultural heritage digitization research.
