Research on Influencing Factors of End-of-life Vehicle Recycling Industry Based on Z-number and DEMATEL

  • Purpose/Significance Identifying and analyzing the influencing factors of the development of end-of-life vehicles recycling industry are of great significance to optimize the mechanism and promote the rapid development of recycling industry. Design/Methodology Firstly, through literature analysis, 15 factors affecting the development of end-of-life vehicles recycling industry are determined from the different perspectives of government, consumers,enterprises and industry organizations. Secondly, several experts are invited to evaluate the direct relationship between the influencing factors. Z-number is introduced to describe the complex uncertainty of evaluation information, and the maximum consensus method is used to calculate the weight of experts. The centrality and causality of influencing factors are calculated based on DEMATEL(Decision making trial and evaluation laboratory),and then the causality classification and importance analysis of influencing factors are carried out. Conclusions/Findings Finally, an example is given to verify the feasibility and rationality of the proposed method, and the countermeasures to promote the development of end-of-life vehicles recycling industry are put forward according to the results.
