Review and Prospect of Post-disaster Humanitarian Logistics Operation Management Research

Purpose/Significance Post-disaster humanitarian logistics is an important part of emergency management, which is of great significance to protect people’s life and property safety and maintain social stability, and has become one of the hot and difficult issues in domestic and foreign research. Design/Methodology Firstly, based on the perspective of operation management tasks such as resource dispatching, on-site triage rescue and hospital comprehensive treatment, the literature related to post-disaster humanitarian logistics is reviewed. Then, the methods of solving these problems are deacribed as exact methods, heuristic methods, reinforcement learning methods and mixed methods and summarized separately. Conclusions/Findings The operation management problems and optimized solutions in post-disaster humanitarian logistics are clarified, and future research ideas are expanded from the perspectives of problems and methods.
