Research Hotspots and Trend Analysis of Emergency Communication of Emergencies at Home and Abroad (2012-2021)

Purpose/Significance In recent years, various types of emergencies have occurred frequently at home and abroad, and emergency communication has received widespread attention from academic and practical circles at home and abroad. The emergency communication capability under emergencies is a reflection of a country’s governance capability, and by comparing domestic and foreign emergency communication research, we can serve to promote and improve the emergency management system in China. Design/Methodology With the knowledge map research method, CNKI and Web of Science as data sources, and Citespace information visualization software, this paper makes bibliometric analysis of related research on emergency communication at home and abroad from 2012 to 2021. Conclusions/Findings Research on emergency communication at home and abroad has a strong coupling. They all start from emergency services and carry out multi-dimensional explorations around theory and practice. However, there are differences in research perspectives and theoretical frameworks. Combining the main viewpoints and research trends, it is necessary to construct and improve the theory of emergency services, expand the depth and breadth of research content, focus on the innovation of research methods and perspectives, and promote interdisciplinary cooperation, to improve the quality of emergency communication research and promote the overall improvement of emergency management level.
