A Study on the Challenges and Countermeasures of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Universities in the Post-figurative Culture Age

Purpose/Significance The new characteristics of college students in the era of post-figurative culture bring new challenges to the ideological and political theory courses in universities. It is urgent to put forward effective countermeasures to deal with them. Design/Methodology By sorting out the new characteristics of college students in the era of post-figurative culture, this paper analyzes the challenges it brings to the knowledge authority, value authority and teacher authority of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures based on the characteristics of the current era. Conclusions/Findings Combining the reality of ideological and political theory courses, grasping the essence of ideological and political education, changing the discourse of ideological and political education and adopting new teaching methods are effective countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses in universities.
