Digital Economy Affects High-quality Economic Development: Review and Prospect

Purpose/Significance With the deepening of the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, digital economy has gradually become a new driving force and engine for China’s economic and social development. In-depth induction and summary of studies on the impact of digital economy on high-quality economic development is conducive to promoting more scholars to pay attention to the related issues in China, providing a theoretical basis for guiding high-quality economic development and giving full play to the leading role of digital economy. Design/Methodology Through sorting out and summarizing relevant researches on the impact of digital economy on high-quality economic development, the existing researches are summarized and analyzed from different perspectives, and the shortcomings of current researches and future research directions are put forward. Conclusions/Findings The current academic research on the impact of digital economy on high-quality economic development mostly focuses on the economic growth efficiency and comprehensive evaluation, and the research on the mechanism of digital economy on high-quality economic development has not formed a systematic and theoretical framework. In the future, it is necessary to further expand the digital economy theory, improve the analysis framework, and form the theory with Chinese characteristics combined with the Chinese situation.
