Social Science Studies of Artificial Intelligence Abroad: A Generative Review

Purpose/Significance Artificial intelligence is a global, competitive, strategic technology that brings major changes to economic development, international political landscape, social progress, etc. Along with basic theoretical innovations, key technological breakthroughs and commercial applications, artificial intelligence research is not only a technical issue, but also a complex economic, political and social issue. Design/Methodology Based on the relevant research literature of artificial intelligence in Web of Science, the concept and important development nodes of artificial intelligence are first sorted out, and then the foreign research results of the application and influence of artificial intelligence are systematically introduced from economic, political and social aspects. Finally, the research limitations and prospects of this field are reviewed. Conclusions/Findings The economic aspects revolve around labor, enterprises and industries. The political aspects involve government management, political stability, and international competition, while social aspects focus on human life, ethics, law, regulation and sustainable development. It is of certain reference value for accelerating the overall advancement of social science research and technology research and development, building artificial intelligence innovation development pilot zone, and realizing the deep integration of artificial intelligence and economic and social development.
