The obvious features of ZHUO Zhen-yin’s English Version of The Verse of Chu lies the following aspects: “translating Chinese poetry into English poetry” and “adaptive employment of English poetic forms”. Through overall consideration and reasonable adjustment, the translator tries his best to reflect the beauty of artistic conception of the original text by using different forms of traditional English poetry, including quatrain, couplet, triplet, quintet, ten-line-stanza, and so on, which shows target language culture oriented conception. Such affinity form is a link between target language culture and source language culture.
