A Study of the Present Situation and Problems for the Emergency Volunteers Development in Beijing

From the rescue activities of Lushan Earthquake, we can see the great development of the NGO in emergency rescue, but quite a few problems are still in existence. In recent years, the Beijing government also attaches great importance to the construction of volunteers. In this paper, we make a survey and analysis on the emergency volunteers in Beijing from the respects of development situation, abilities, training and the professional emergency volunteers. This research tries to provide a reference for the development and management of the emergency volunteers in Beijing.
