  • Since the concept of “innovation” was first offered by Schumpeter in 1912, the research on innovation develops a lot. The research of “open innovation”, an essential part of innovation research, becomes popular. This paper uses Citespace to find out the leading countries and institutions, key words, and co-cited references in open innovation research. It provides a visual knowledge map of open innovation and helps researchers to continue the pursuit of research in the area.
