Study of New Wall Materials and Innovative Designs Based on the TAM/QFD and TRIZ Methodologies

  • With the continuous improvements in living standards and social progress, people have come to expect more stringent requirements in the living environment. High energy consumption, heavy pollution, soil conservation, and better waste management are a few of the problems that new wall materials will help solve. This paper will mainly focus on the study of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) as applied to new product development. The whole production process is encompassed, including the end user, marketing, R&D, and manufacturing. The innovative methods integrated into the product designs have solved the contradictions between the production process. An example of this is the case of Sichuan Bibao Wall Materials company.
