Study on Urban and Rural Social Security System Convergence and Unification-Based on Analysis of Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu Province convergence of urban and rural social security system with the merger at the national forefront, southern, central and northern of Jiangsu has developed into a unique pattern. At present, affected by policy, demand, funds and other factors, there are some problems in the unification of the province converge in urban and rural social security management, fund co-ordination, and payments. To accelerate the urban and rural social insurance, social assistance and other welfare, integrated management, clear responsibility of fund, and flexible insurance project, should be taken to achieve the true merger for the urban and rural social security system.
