Abstract:
With the acceleration of urbanization, a large number of agricultural land converted to construction land. This vulnerable group of landless peasants and urban integration of the employment have become the center of public attention. Based on the theories of human capital, social capital, etc., this study puts forward hypotheses and builds a research model. With the samples of the 10 outskirts in Chengdu which are among the first national urban and rural comprehensive reform pilots area, questionnaires and interviews are used to collect data. Empirical research is used to study the factors that affect the adaptation of suburban employment of landless peasants and to explore the relationship between the adaptation and the urban integration. The results show that the employment fitness of landless peasants and the urban integration are positively correlated. Meanwhile, personal personality and social capital are positively related to the employment fitness, which is the concrete factor affecting the employment fitness and also affecting its urban integration indirectly through the employment fitness.
