摘要: 英国汉学家克莱默-宾是唐诗英译格律体派早期核心人物，他在理解唐诗本质诗学特征的基础上以诗性语言赋予唐诗英诗表征，构建唐诗格律体英译经典。虽然他的英译存在文化误读与文学误译，相比其他汉学家“学者式”的英译，他的译诗是唐诗在英语世界最为优雅的诗篇，推动了唐诗在英语世界学术圈外的传播Abstract: Based on the essentials of Chinese poetry, British sinologist Cranmer-Byng set out to reconstruct Tang Poetry in the English metrical form. Despite cultural misunderstandings and mistakes in his renderings, he translated Tang Poetry in the most elegant way, and contributed to the circulation of Tang Poetry beyond the academic circle.
