  • 摘要: 以诗译诗与借形传神是卓振英《楚辞》英译文的特色。译者进行总体审度和合理调适,借用传统英语诗歌的四行诗体、双行偶韵诗体、三行诗体、五行诗体、十行诗体以及半格律半自由诗体等形式,努力再现《楚辞》的意境美,在很大程度上体现了以译入语文化为导向的翻译理念,这在深层次上是因为这种形式借鉴对英语世界读者更具亲和力,它是沟通译入语文化与源语文化的纽带

     

    Abstract: The obvious features of ZHUO Zhen-yin’s English Version of The Verse of Chu lies the following aspects: “translating Chinese poetry into English poetry” and “adaptive employment of English poetic forms”. Through overall consideration and reasonable adjustment, the translator tries his best to reflect the beauty of artistic conception of the original text by using different forms of traditional English poetry, including quatrain, couplet, triplet, quintet, ten-line-stanza, and so on, which shows target language culture oriented conception. Such affinity form is a link between target language culture and source language culture.
