Abstract: The construction of the west-strait economic zone needs to innovate in local public policy. The innovation in local public policy includes policy culture, policy institution, policy procedure and mechanism, policy instrument and policy content, etc. It is subjected to a variety of factors currently. We must design scientifically the path of the innovation in local public policy in order to develop the west-strait economic zone.
