Abstract: Compared with the traditional industries, the platform industry has its unique characteristics. Based on the analysis of platform industry’s property, in accordance with the traditional SCP analytical framework in the theory of industrial organization,this paper reviews the impact of the current platform competition, the platform differentiation, the platform industry, barriers to entry, and platform integration and market power of industry on its enterprise performance and market behavior, and points the further research of industrial that should be focused based on the current platform SCP paradigm.
